Survivor's Garden
WAITT Inc. – Survivor’s Garden Project is a survivor-led initiative dedicated to supporting cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers.
We are seeking $25,000 to establish the Survivor’s Garden, a healing-centered outdoor space that honors the strength of those impacted by cancer and provides a place for reflection, remembrance, and connection. This project aligns with the City’s goals of neighborhood revitalization, public wellness, and inclusive community development.
When WAITT Inc. envisioned the Survivor’s Garden, it nurtures both the spirit and the body. We knew it had to be more than beautiful—it had to be nourishing. That’s how Victory Veggies came to life.
Guided by our Master Gardener, this special bed grows vegetables and herbs cultivated for wellness, nourishment, and healing. Survivors and caregivers are invited to plant, tend, and harvest together—finding strength in the soil and peace in the process.
Victory Veggies is a place of learning, laughter, and quiet reflection. It’s where hands meet earth, and hearts find renewal. Every tomato, every sprig of mint, every leafy green is a testament to resilience.
This is not just gardening. It’s healing in motion.
The garden will feature symbolic plantings, engraved bricks, benches, and memorial signage — creating a space for reflection, celebration, and community connection. This project will engage local volunteers, beautify the neighborhood, promote community engagement, and provide emotional support to residents affected by cancer.

Home for Hope Capital Campaign
“Together, we’re building a sanctuary for survivors.”
To better serve cancer fighters, survivors, and caregivers, WAITT is launching a capital campaign for a retreat-style property that feels like a home away from home. We envision a healing-centered outdoor space to grow a Survivor’s Garden: A Living Tribute to Strength and Healing. This will be a place of reflection, celebration, and community connection.
